Hair loss (alopecia)

It is estimated that one in three men and one in ten women in Germany are affected by hair loss. While men, true to the motto "a beautiful face needs space," often resign themselves to their fate, alopecia (the medical term for hair loss) often represents a significant emotional burden for women.

The forms of alopecia are as varied as their causes. From partial hair loss, which regenerates over time, to total hair loss that is permanent, every stage is encountered. In Germany alone, over one million people suffer from alopecia areata (patchy hair loss).

In androgenetic alopecia (hereditary hair loss), there is an inherited thinning of the hair.

Chemotherapy

Providing care for chemotherapy patients requires a great deal of sensitivity and a quick response time. For this reason, we also carry a selection of synthetic wigs. If your client is about to undergo treatment, we would be happy to send you a selection to facilitate optimal consultation. Should it be some time before hair loss begins, we will reserve the selected model for you if you return it to us along with the rest of the selection.
